the steps

find the car. every car on truwo is checked by our inspection ai and benchmark-priced against live listings before it goes up.
see it and drive it. we set up a test drive with the owner. you inspect the car yourself before anything else happens.
pay the owner, directly. when you're happy, you pay the owner in person. truwo never asks for an advance and never holds your money.
get the rc in your name. truwo handles the paperwork, the rto, and the bank, so ownership transfers cleanly to you.

what keeps it safe

no advance payments. truwo will never ask you to send money before you've seen the car. anyone who does is not us.
nothing at risk until you're sure. you pay only after the test drive, only when the car checks out, and you pay the owner directly.

is the paperwork clean? rc, loan, ownership — verified against vahan, not the seller's word.

before a car goes live

a car is listed only after truwo runs a few checks:

the photos are reviewed by our inspection ai and given a condition score.
the rc papers are checked, including registration status and any loan recorded against the car.
the asking price is cross-checked against real, live listings of similar cars.
