why direct from owner

a dealer buys a car low and sells it higher. that gap is money the buyer pays and the previous owner never sees. when you buy direct from the owner through truwo, that gap stays with the two people in the deal.

buyers get a fairer price. sellers keep the full amount. truwo earns from optional services like warranty, finance, and rc transfer, not from marking up the car.

how a car gets checked

before a car goes live, truwo runs a few checks so you're not going in blind:

• the car's photos are reviewed by truwo's inspection ai and given a condition score.
• the rc papers are checked, including registration status and any loan recorded against the car.
• the asking price is cross-checked against real, live listings of similar cars on the market.
